PLEASE HELP US IF YOU CAN.
- Register with Everyclick as your main search engine, naming Concordis as your chosen charity – every time you surf the net you will be raising money for our work. www.everyclick.com
- Sell your unwanted items via Ebay and donate the proceeds to us. Organise a fund raising event on our behalf – anything from discos to dog walks to dinners. Find us on eBay for Charity.
- Undertake a sponsored challenge – so far Concordis Supporters have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, kept silent for 24 hours and walked from London to Cambridge!
You can collect sponsorship easily, safely and tax efficiently by taking advantage of our registration with Virgin Money Giving where you can set up your own web page and receive your sponsorship online.
There are many events both in the UK and overseas which allow you to take part and raise sponsorship for the charity of your choice. For marathon runners, even if you cannot obtain a place in the London Marathon there are plenty of other local marathons and half marathons - www.runnersworld.co.uk has a calendar of UK Marathons. There are also sponsored walks such as the annual Thetford Chase Walk which allow you to take part and raise money for the charity of your choice. (make sure you check for any age limits before entering these events)
For more ambitious and exotic challenges visit www.charitychallenge.com. Some challenges ask that you raise funds for a specific charity but others allow you to raiser sponsorship for the charity of your choice – we hope you will choose Concordis International. (you will need to be aged over 18 if you choose to ‘go it alone’ but anyone from age 15 can undertake a challenge provided they are accompanied by an adult over 25).
- Tell people about us: encourage your friends, family, school, church, youth group etc. to visit our website - the more people learn about our work, the more they are likely to support us.
- Send a donation, either by cheque or via our website. If you are over 18 you might also like to consider setting up a standing order – this is very helpful to us as the regular income it provides helps us budget for the future.
