Gifts of any size are welcome.

Regular pledged donations are especially important, as they give us the security of being able to plan ahead. The easiest way of making a regular donation is through a Standing Order. By giving simple instructions to your bank, donations are transferred directly from your account monthly, quarterly or annually. The contribution form includes a Standing Order instruction for your use. You can cancel the arrangement at any time by writing to your bank.

Many employers encourage their staff to support charities by undertaking to match their individual gifts to a charity, normally up to a specified limit. If you as an employer wish to set up such a scheme and to include us in your list of charities, we would be happy to work with you. Or an employee may wish to encourage his or her employer to start a scheme.

Making a will is the only way to ensure that your property and finances are distributed after your death exactly as you wish. By doing so, you will also be saving difficulty - at a painful and stressful time - for those you leave behind. 
It also gives you the opportunity to bequeath something to charity. Bequests to charity are deducted from one's estate for inheritance tax purposes. This is an excellent way of leaving a lasting legacy to a cause you have supported in your life.

You don’t have to be well off to leave a legacy to charity. Every year, people from all walks of life bequeath money to charitable causes. Many have had to watch their spending carefully.
